Kanna is the closest to being the only normal/human member in a family comprised of literally the most powerful beings in the world, having inherited none of her parent's superhuman abilities. She has immense self-hate for being "worthless and weak" and her envious nature comes from wanting to be anyone but herself. She's fragile like thin glass compared to her sisters and fears them to an extent, so she's generally very withdrawn. 
To survive, she has learned to become the most observant and the most in touch with humanity, feeling sympathetic to their inferiority before demons. Like her mother, she uses these skills to her advantage by manipulating others to gain support and validation. 

Her name is supposed to be a derivative of Cain, the embodiment of sibling envy. She was named for the white lily, but I would imagine it's spelled with the kanji 神無 giving it the meaning "god of nothingness" or in this case "powerless god".
