Rhodonite

Steven Universe season 2 is fantastic so far! Much better than the first season already....thank fuck some questions about the lore have finally been answered >_> So far, we know a lot more about fusions and gems in general so I wanted to mess with my shitty headcanons

Rhodonite as a fusion takes a while to happen and is initially unstable/imbalanced because Morganite's first impression of Black Diamond is very, very wrong. They have the same goal but their intentions are different, so the first time they fuse, Rhodonite comes out as more of a vessel being piloted by two like-minded individuals rather than a new person entirely. 

This new version of Rhodonite was my idea of a more stable/balanced fusion between them, less tilted in Carbonado's favor and more of an individual created from mutual trust and intentions.
