Buttercup - Emerald

Aku is Carbonado, or Black Diamond _{not pictured: samurai jack is quartz lmao}

The Beryls are newer homeworld gems who switch sides
Aquamarine and Emerald become honorary Crystal Gems, and Morganite is the herald of Black Diamond

Black Diamond is an antagonist both crystal and homeworld gems can unite against i guess.
Like maybe he landed on earth loooooong before the war and the reason rose was trying to protect earth wasn't for the sake of the humans, it was because building the kindergarten and disturbing the ground could awaken black diamond and that had to be stopped no matter what
